Our office provides legal advice about the University’s rights and obligations under state and federal law that impact its relationship with its employees including the development and implementation of employment policies; the administrative process for discipline or termination of University employees; the employee grievance process including representing the University in grievance matters; faculty retention, promotion, and tenure decisions; and employment discrimination claims.
