Tom is a Senior Associate General Counsel and has worked in our office since 1993. His areas of focus are health law matters, graduate medical education, campus affairs, including faculty and staff employment, and student affairs. Tom also serves as the General Counsel liason for the following campuses: Indiana University–Purdue University Columbus, IU South Bend, IU Kokomo, and Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Prior to joining our office, Tom served as an Assistant Director for the William S. and Christine S. Hall Center for Law and Health at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he was involved in research on health law matters, including a major study sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation measuring the impact of the Indiana Medical Malpractice Act.

Tom received a B.A. in History from Indiana University Bloomington and a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He has also taught The College Student and Law in the School of Education at IUPUI.
