Jennifer joined our office in November of 2011. In addition to general university legal matters, she focuses her practice on copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property matters; data security and privacy issues; conflicts of interest; licensing and other technology transactions; and a wide range of other matters involving information technology. She relishes serving in the role of counselor at law.

Prior to joining our office, Jennifer was a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP in Indianapolis, focusing her practice in commercial and intellectual property litigation and serving as a member of the recruiting committee. Before moving to Indiana in 2006, Jennifer practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia and Durham, North Carolina.

Jennifer earned B.A. degrees in both English and Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California. She earned her J.D., as well as a Master of Arts in English and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies, from Duke University.
